Overview

Nothing changes how a house looks faster than new siding. It also does the unglamorous work — keeping water out of the walls and holding up to Texas heat and hail.

We install fiber cement, vinyl, and wood siding, along with soffit, fascia and trim. Which one is right depends on your house, your budget, and how long you plan to stay. Randy will walk you through the honest trade-offs of each.

Whatever we find behind the old siding gets dealt with before the new siding goes on. Covering up rotted wood just buys you the same problem again in a few years.

James Hardie Fiber Cement

Fiber cement is cement, sand and cellulose pressed into boards. It doesn't rot, it doesn't burn, and it doesn't feed termites. Of everything we install, it's the material we'd put on our own houses.

We install the James Hardie line: siding panels, shingles, trim, soffits and accessories. We install it primed and paint it on site.

Fiber cement is heavy and unforgiving to install. Cuts have to be clean, gaps have to be right, and flashing has to go where flashing goes. That's the part you're actually hiring us for.

Vinyl Siding

Vinyl is the practical choice. It costs less than fiber cement, never needs paint, and cleans up with a garden hose. For a lot of houses and a lot of budgets, it's the right answer, and we'll say so.

We install new vinyl and repair existing vinyl — cracked panels, storm damage, sections that have come loose. You don't have to re-side the whole house to fix one wall.

Wood Siding

Cedar, pine, whitewood and plywood, plus masonite and SmartSide. Plenty of houses around Dallas wear wood siding, and plenty of owners want to keep it that way.

If a wall is too far gone to repair honestly, we'll tell you that, and walk you through what replacing it would cost.

Soffit & Fascia Repair

Soffit is the underside of your roof overhang; fascia is the board your gutters hang on. They are the first wood on the house to take water and the last place anyone looks.

Sound fascia matters for your gutters too. Screws don't hold in rotted board, and a loaded gutter finds that out in the first big storm.
